Dr. Daria Manos

Biography

Daria Manos is a professor in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at Dalhousie University, where she serves as the Head of Thoracic Radiology and the Associate Head for Education. She completed her radiology residency at Dalhousie University and a thoracic imaging fellowship at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. Dr. Manos is the medical lead for Nova Scotia's Lung Screening Program and has served as the Past President of the Canadian Society of Thoracic Radiology. She is involved in teaching medical students, residents, and postgraduate trainees, and frequently lectures internationally, contributing to the professional development of practicing radiologists. Her research interests focus on the improved detection of early lung cancer, evidence-based management of lung nodules, and effective resource utilization in lung cancer screening.
