Darin Weinberg is a Professor of Sociology at King's College, University of Cambridge. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Communications from the University of California, San Diego in 1984, followed by a Master of Science in Social Philosophy from the London School of Economics in 1985. He completed his PhD in Sociology at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1998. He has received several accolades, including the Melvin Pollner Prize for his contributions to the field of Ethnomethodology and the Outstanding Article Award from the American Sociological Association’s Section on Theory. He has actively participated in research initiatives related to addiction and social dynamics and has presented lectures on these subjects.
