Biography

Darko Joksimovic is an Associate Professor and Department Chair in the Department of Civil Engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University. His academic journey began at the University of Toronto where he earned his Master of Applied Science (MASc) in 1999, followed by a PhD from the University of Exeter in 2007. Joksimovic has held significant roles such as a Senior Editor for the Journal of Water Management Modeling and has been a reviewer for various notable engineering journals. He is actively engaged in advancing understanding and management of urban water systems, particularly in light of the ongoing challenges surrounding water quality degradation due to human activities.
