Biography

Dr. Darren Van Dam is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Western University. He has a strong background in physical medicine, beginning his education with a degree in kinesiology and subsequent experience at a physiotherapy clinic. After transitioning to medical training at Queen's University, Dr. Van Dam initially aimed to become an orthopedic surgeon. His career has led him to focus on primary care, psychotherapy, palliative care, and medical education.
