Biography

Daryl Selen is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and a Clinician Educator at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, specializing in Endocrinology at Women Infants Hospital. Dr. Selen provides crucial preconception counseling for women of reproductive age facing endocrine disorders, as well as managing hormonal contraception for conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and menopausal hormonal therapy. His research interests are centered around the epidemiology of gestational and pre-gestational diabetes, with a particular focus on long-term maternal health outcomes and the management of glucose intolerance in pregnancy.
