David Churchill is an Associate Professor in Computer Science at Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) in St. John's, Newfoundland. His main research interests lie in AI for Real-Time Strategy Games, particularly StarCraft. He organized and ran the AIIDE StarCraft AI Competition in 2011 and has been involved in developing UAlbertaBot, which won the competition in 2013.
