Biography

David Alexander is an Executive Professor at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University. He teaches Marketing Technology (BUSN 489) as part of the Aggies Tech program. With a 25-year career as a seasoned marketing executive, David has led digital transformation and demand acceleration initiatives for innovative technology companies including Everbridge, Microsoft, SAP, and F5. Currently, he serves as the Chief Marketing Officer at Everbridge, where he is responsible for creating world-class digital experiences for customers and meaningful engagements that add value to the Everbridge portfolio. He leads the global strategy and vision for the Everbridge brand and its go-to-market motions across a full suite of products. Before joining Everbridge, David was the Senior Vice President of Global Demand, Data, Operations, and Field Marketing at F5, and previously held senior marketing positions at SAP Concur and Microsoft. His extensive B2B SaaS expertise is complemented by his passion for coaching, mentoring, and growing early-career individuals. Additionally, he serves as a board member for Love Takes Root, a charitable organization that supports children in need around the world, particularly in Haiti.
