Biography

David N. Assis, MD, is an Associate Professor in Medicine at Yale School of Medicine specializing in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He completed his M.D. at Jefferson Medical College and underwent residency and a chief residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Assis has received multiple accolades for his research contributions, including the Kushlan Junior Faculty Award. He continues to make significant strides in the development of novel therapeutic approaches for liver diseases, while also evaluating cystic fibrosis-related gastroenterological complications.
