Biography

David A.C. Beck is an Adjunct Research Associate Professor in the Environmental & Occupational Health Sciences department at the University of Washington. He has expertise in sustainable communities, environmental health, equity, and pollution. His academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Drexel University in 2000, followed by a Ph.D. in Biomolecular Structure & Design in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Washington in 2006. Additionally, Beck has interests in systems biology, microbial consortia, and engineering microbes relevant to energy, environment, and health.
