Biography

David Bowen is a Professor of Practice at the University of San Diego School of Law, where he has been teaching since 2018. He specializes in a variety of tax courses, including International Tax, Corporate Tax, and Transfer Pricing Tax Methods. Prior to joining USD, he was a Professorial Lecturer at the George Washington University Law School for 14 years and served as an Adjunct Professor in the Graduate Tax Program at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Professionally, Bowen has extensive experience, having worked as the National Managing Principal for Transfer Pricing Services at Grant Thornton LLP in Washington, D.C. He has also held prestigious roles such as Special Counsel at the IRS and Associate Chief Counsel (International). His expertise encompasses Transfer Pricing, Corporate Tax, and Tax Accounting, enriched by over 35 years in private practice with large international law firms.
