Biography

David Brumley is a Professor at Carnegie Mellon University’s College of Engineering, specializing in computer security. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, an M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University, and a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Northern Colorado. Brumley has served as a computer security officer at Stanford University from 1998 to 2002, during which he managed thousands of computer security incidents.
