Dr. David Callen

Biography

David Callen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at McMaster University. Prior to entering the field of medicine, he completed his PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Toronto, which focused on a thesis titled 'Quantitative Analysis of Changes in Limbic Structures in Probable Alzheimer Disease Using Corregistered SPECT and Magnetic Resonance Imaging'. He subsequently completed his medical training at McMaster University and undertook further specialization in Neurology, achieving his FRCPC certification from the University of Toronto. Dr. Callen's research interests are deeply rooted in understanding neurological conditions and advancing the field of pediatric neurology through both clinical practice and academic scholarship. His work often emphasizes the importance of innovative imaging techniques in the diagnosis and treatment of neurodegenerative disorders.
