Dr. David Enoch

Biography

David Enoch primarily focuses on moral, political, and legal philosophy. He studied law and philosophy at Tel Aviv University and later clerked for Justice Beinisch at the Israeli Supreme Court. David pursued his PhD in philosophy at New York University, completing it in 2003. He has been a faculty member at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he holds a joint appointment in philosophy and law. In 2023, he began his role as a Professor of Philosophy and Law at the University of Oxford. David's research interests lie in the intersection of philosophy and law, particularly regarding moral and political philosophy. He leads research projects and programs on Jurisprudence and has taught courses on Jurisprudence and Political Theory.
