David Fink, PhD, MPH, is a substance use psychiatric epidemiologist whose research broadly aims to develop and apply rigorous causal inference methodologies to study the causes of addiction and mental illness. Currently, he works as an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Yale University, where he is funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) to explore the impacts of flexible telehealth guidelines on buprenorphine prescribing for opioid use disorder.
