Biography

Fr David Goodill teaches moral theology at Blackfriars Studium, University of St Joseph, Macau. He holds a doctorate from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, and has studied at the Catholic University of Leuven, University of Manchester, and the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on the dialogue between contemporary philosophy and moral theology, addressing fundamental questions in moral theology. Fr Goodill has previously served as bursar and vice-regent at Blackfriars Hall and currently holds the position of Provincial Bursar for the English Dominicans. His research interests include Wittgenstein, ethics in moral theology, virtue ethics, natural law theory, modern philosophy in moral theology, and the ethical teachings of St Thomas Aquinas.
