David Hindin obtained his MD from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his general surgery training at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, and subsequently completed a fellowship in surgical critical care at Stanford University School of Medicine. He is currently the Associate Chair of Innovation in Stanford University’s Department of Surgery and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Surgery, focusing on Trauma Critical Care at the VA Palo Alto. Dr. Hindin has previously developed and taught a semester-long storytelling course at Stanford Biodesign, aimed at equipping physicians and engineers to create compelling pitches for seeking venture funding.
