Biography

David Kebo Houngninou is an Instructional Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Southern Methodist University in 2017, and holds an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, obtained in 2010, as well as a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Evansville, awarded in 2008. His research interests focus on logic synthesis, hardware formal verification, validation, and Boolean/switching theory. Throughout his academic career, he has contributed to significant advancements in the field, with published works addressing various aspects of switch circuit simulation and the implementation of circuit models using transfer functions. He has received several awards, including the Research Days Outstanding Poster Award at Southern Methodist University in 2017 and the Outstanding Graduate Student Award from the same institution in 2015 and 2016.
