Biography

Dr. David Johnston is an Upper Extremity Surgeon and Assistant Professor at Dalhousie University. He completed his medical degree at Dalhousie University and subsequently pursued a general practice in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. After returning from general practice, he completed his surgical residency and specialized in orthopaedics, receiving his residency training at Dalhousie. In 1994, he obtained fellowship training in Hand and Upper Limb surgery from the University of New Mexico, U.S.A. His practice focuses on providing comprehensive orthopaedic care with a subspecialty interest in problems related to the upper limb.
