Biography

David C. Kang is the Maria Crutcher Professor of International Relations at the University of Southern California. He holds appointments in the School of International Relations and the Marshall School of Business. Kang serves as the Director of the Korean Studies Institute. His recent book, 'American Grand Strategy and East Asian Security in the 21st Century,' was published by Cambridge University Press in autumn 2017. He is also the author of 'East Asia and the West: Five Centuries of Trade and Tribute.'
