Biography

David Kauvar, MD, MPH is an academic vascular surgeon who received his undergraduate medical education at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland, while serving in the active duty Army. He completed his general surgery residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, and a surgical research fellowship at the United States Army Institute of Surgical Research, followed by a clinical fellowship at the University of Utah.
