Dr. David Laing

Biography

Professor David Laing is an esteemed faculty member at the University of New South Wales, specializing in the fields of psychological, anatomical, and physiological research aimed at developing a comprehensive understanding of the senses of smell and taste in humans. His work is particularly focused on the maturity of these senses in children and the establishment of clinical tests for assessing smell and taste in pediatric populations. His research encompasses applied studies examining disorders of the senses and strategies for managing chemosensory dysfunction. With broad competencies in neuroscience, obesity, and neuropsychology, Professor Laing has made significant contributions to the understanding of chemoreception and sensory system development.
