Biography

David Lamont is the Director of Management Games and the owner of Leland Associates. He has served as a board member for numerous new ventures and has experience restructuring companies in extreme financial distress by redirecting strategy and placing sound foundations for growth. He has been involved in startup ventures as CFO, COO, and CEO, successfully raising more than $8 million in venture capital. As a faculty member of the Integrated Innovation Institute, David teaches two courses in the New Product Management certificate program, which focuses on building and sustaining products with strong, informed brand management. In addition to his online roles at the Integrated Innovation Institute, David is also a member of the Strategy faculty group at Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business, where he teaches courses on team decision-making processes, competitive dynamics, business analytics, understanding markets, products and services, product strategy and planning, and business management thinking practice.
