David Lewis is a Senior Lecturer in Greek History and Culture in the Classics Department at the University of Edinburgh. He joined the university in August 2018 and was promoted to Senior Lecturer in August 2022. He is currently involved in an ERC-funded major grant exploring the structures of economy and labor experiences in the ancient Greek world, particularly focusing on Athens. David is recognized for his contributions to the field, evidenced by his publications and ongoing research projects, including a forthcoming article in June 2025.
