Biography

David Lindeman is an affiliated faculty member and the director of UC Berkeley's CITRIS Health Initiative. He serves as the director of the Center for Technology and Aging, where he developed support for the SCAN Foundation and co-directs the Center for Innovation in Technology and Public Health, focusing on the use of technology to support population health. He joined CITRIS in 2013. Previously, he was the founder and director of the Mather LifeWays Institute on Aging in Evanston, Illinois, where he was responsible for developing and implementing evidence-based applied research programs, demonstration projects, educational programs, and dissemination initiatives. He has held positions as an associate professor of health policy at the Rush Institute for Healthy Aging at Rush University Medical Center and co-director of the University of California, Davis Alzheimer's Disease Center. David Lindeman is a proud alumni of Berkeley Social Welfare and earned his DSW in 1987 and MSW in 1980.
