Biography

David Lussier is a geriatrician and has undergone a three-year training in pain and palliative care at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. He has been practicing at the Université de Montréal's Geriatric Institute since 2004, primarily within the chronic pain management clinic, of which he is the director. He is an adjunct professor at the Université de Montréal and also an associate professor at McGill University. Lussier is the founding president of a special interest group of the International Association for the Study of Pain and has chaired a committee on education and knowledge transfer in collaboration with the Chronic Pain Management Expertise Centre at the Université de Montréal.
