Biography

David McKemy is a Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Southern California. With a Ph.D. in Cellular & Molecular Pharmacology & Physiology from the University of Nevada, Reno, he specializes in the neurobiological basis of somatosensation and nociception. His research focuses on the molecular and cellular processes that govern the ability to detect touch and pain, particularly in relation to chronic pain conditions.
