Dr. David P. Morris is a Professor in the Division of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at Dalhousie University. He joined the division in 2003 after completing a fellowship in Otology and Neurotology, focusing on Lateral Skull-base Surgery. His work has featured significant research on Diagnostic Imaging and Biomedical Engineering applications related to ear conditions, notably in the development of the OSSIVIEW handheld Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) device. He has received several awards for his contributions to the field of otolaryngology, including the Royal Society Medicine “Gold Medal” and multiple accolades for research presentations.
