Biography

David Ragazzoni is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Toronto. He holds a PhD in Political Science from Columbia University, obtained in 2022. Prior to his current position, he was a Lecturer and Faculty Advisor for the Master’s Degree in Political Theory program. His research interests lie in political theory, specifically focusing on democratic theory, the history of political thought, political ideologies, constitutionalism, and democracy. He has published articles in various reputable journals including Ethics and International Affairs, Journal of Political Ideologies, and International Journal of Democratic Critical Theory. Additionally, he is co-editor of a forthcoming book on Hans Kelsen and constitutional democracy, set to be published in 2025 by Cambridge University Press.
