Biography

David Schriemer is a professor at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary, where he has significantly contributed to the field of biochemistry and molecular biology since 2001. He received his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Winnipeg in 1991, M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Manitoba in 1993, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the University of Alberta in 1997. Schriemer has been recognized with several awards throughout his career, including the Canada Research Chair in Chemical Biology.
