Dr. David Seidl

Biography

David Seidl is a Full Professor and Chair of Organization Management at the University of Zurich. He has a solid academic background with key contributions to the field of strategic management. His PhD in Management Studies was obtained from Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge, and his postdoctoral thesis focused on 'Strategy Practice' at Helmut-Schmidt University. Prior to his role at UZH, he served as an Associate Professor in Strategic Management at the University of Munich and held a research associate position in the Institute of Business Policy and Strategic Management at the same university. Seidl's research interests include Corporate Governance, Organizational Routines, Organization Theory, Standardization, Strategy Practice, Strategy Consulting, and Top Management Teams. He has published extensively, and his work has contributed to leading journals in management and organizational studies. He has also been active in academic associations, serving in leadership roles such as Advisory Committee Member for the SAP Interest Group at the Academy of Management and as a member of several editorial boards for prominent journals.
