Biography

David Williamson Shaffer is the Sears Bascom Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he focuses on learning analytics and the learning sciences. His academic journey includes an M.S. and Ph.D. in Media Arts and Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an A.B. in History from Harvard University.
