Dr. David Stahl

Biography

David Stahl is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Pain Medicine at Stanford University. He is the Division Chief of Critical Care and has over a decade of experience in obstetric critical care, notably serving on the Maternal Mortality Review Committee in Ohio. His commitment to education in obstetric anesthesia is evident through his roles as Vice Chair of the ASA Education Track Subcommittee for Obstetric Anesthesia and as a member of the SOAP Education Steering Committee and the Board of Directors of SOAP. He is a board-certified anesthesiologist and critical care physician, with academic interests focusing on the integration of technology into medical education and enhancing the resilience and well-being of medical trainees and faculty. Dr. Stahl also holds multiple board certifications from the American Board of Anesthesiology.
