David Stangeland, PhD, BComm (Distinction), CPA, CMA, has a robust academic profile and extensive teaching experience at the Asper School of Business, University of Manitoba. He began his career at the University of Alberta and has been a member of the Accounting and Finance Department since 1991. His research primarily focuses on corporate governance, control, and the effects on corporate performance and value, examining issues such as takeovers, shareholder rights, and ownership structure. Stangeland's scholarly contributions include numerous publications in reputable journals and collaborative work with distinguished academics.
