Biography

David C. Tate is a licensed clinical psychologist, executive coach, and organizational consultant. He serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine, where he has received the Distinguished Faculty Award. In addition, he is a lecturer at Yale School of Management, teaching courses focused on leadership and interpersonal dynamics within graduate executive education programs. David coaches global leaders through the Yale Greenberg World Fellows Program and is also the Co-Founder and CEO of Conscious Growth Partners, a consultancy that promotes organizational thriving through effective leadership, teamwork, and culture. He is the author of 'Sink or Swim: Lessons from the Titanic to Save Your Family Business' published in 2011, and 'Conscious Accountability: Deepen Connections, Elevate Results' released in 2022. David completed his B.S. at Cornell University and earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Virginia, where he also completed pre-doctoral and post-doctoral fellowships before joining the faculty.
