David Turner is an Associate Professor at the School of Chemistry at Monash University. He previously held the Australian Research Council Future Fellowship and the Australian Institute of Nuclear Science & Engineering Research Fellowship, along with an Australian Research Council Post-Doctoral Fellowship. Beyond research, David actively contributes to community outreach, participating in initiatives such as the CSIRO 'Scientists in Schools' program and engaging with students through laboratory-based research projects. He has served as the President of the Victorian Branch of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute and is currently the Secretary of the Society of Crystallographers Australia New Zealand.
