Biography

David Wilson is a fellowship-trained musculoskeletal oncologist specializing in tumorous conditions affecting bones and soft tissues. He completed his medical education at Dalhousie University and underwent his residency in orthopaedic surgery there. Following this, he pursued additional fellowship training at the University of Toronto, specifically at Mount Sinai, focusing on musculoskeletal oncology. Prior to rejoining Dalhousie University in 2021, where he currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Orthopaedics, he practiced for three years at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. His research interests encompass orthopedic biomechanics, medical education, and oncology outcomes. At Dalhousie University, he is actively involved in education, research, and administrative work within the University hospital system, particularly pertaining to the Division of Musculoskeletal Oncology.
