Dr. David Wolk

Biography

David Wolk, MD, is a Professor in the Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He serves as the Attending Neurologist at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and is the Co-Director of the Penn Memory Center as well as the Director of the Penn Alzheimer's Disease Research Center. His research primarily focuses on Alzheimer's Disease, Dementia, Memory Disorders and Cognitive Neurology. David is also a Fellow at the Institute on Aging at the University of Pennsylvania and has academic affiliations with the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience. With an educational background that includes a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Dartmouth College and an MD from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, he specializes in advanced techniques such as Event-related Potentials and MRI. His clinical expertise encompasses treating and researching memory-related disorders, making significant contributions to understanding aging and cognitive decline.
