Dr. David T. Woodley is a Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC). He trained in Dermatology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and then became a Research Fellow at the University of Paris/Rothschild Institute. Dr. Woodley joined the dermatology faculty at the University of North Carolina, where he founded the Phototherapy Unit for psoriasis treatment. In 1988, he was appointed as the vice chair of the Department of Dermatology at Stanford University and led the Stanford Psoriasis Center and Immunodermatology Lab. In 1992, he became the Walter J. Hamlin Professor and Chair of Dermatology at Northwestern University. Dr. Woodley has published over 165 scientific papers and has consistently received NIH funding since 1982. His research interests include dermatologic therapy, epidermolysis bullosa, and wound healing. He has contributed significantly to the field through numerous publications and clinical trials.
