David S. Yeager is the Raymond Dickson Centennial Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin. He is a prominent figure in the realm of social-cognitive development, primarily focusing on motivation, aggression, adolescence, psychological interventions, and research methodology. Yeager's notable research investigates how short powerful interventions can significantly influence adolescent behaviors and promote healthy engagement in areas including academic performance, mental health, and problematic behaviors such as bullying.
