Biography

Davide Bardana is an Associate Professor at Queen's University in the Department of Surgery, specializing in Orthopedic Surgery. He completed his medical education at the University of Calgary in 1994 and later went through the Orthopedic Surgery residency at Queen's University. Dr. Bardana further enhanced his expertise by undertaking a Sports Medicine/Arthroscopy Fellowship in Salt Lake City, UT, followed by an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship in Melbourne, Australia. He has been a practicing orthopedic surgeon since 2002 and serves as the team physician for the Queen's Gaels. His clinical focus includes Sports Medicine, particularly knee and shoulder arthroscopy, and Orthopedic Trauma. His research interests lie in the development of osteochondral ligament tissue engineered constructs, computer-assisted surgery techniques, and isokinetic kinematic testing of the knee and shoulder. Dr. Bardana is also dedicated to improving arthroscopy skills teaching through virtual reality simulation.
