Davide Martino joined the Department of Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Calgary as an Associate Professor at the end of 2016 and is a full member of the Hotchkiss Brain Institute. He is the Director of the Movement Disorders Program and leads a multidisciplinary research program focused on investigating endophenotypes and biomarkers associated with complex movement disorders, including dystonia, Parkinson's disease, and Tourette syndrome. His ongoing projects are funded by the National Institute for Health Research, NHS England, the European Union, and several charitable institutions. He is also the co-founder and Treasurer of the European Society for the Study of Tourette Syndrome.
