Dr. Davoud Ghahremanlou

Biography

Davoud Ghahremanlou obtained his multidisciplinary PhD with Class Standing and is currently an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Business Administration at Memorial University of Newfoundland. He has taught at Memorial’s Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science and the Department of Economics. His professional journey includes a postdoctoral internship focusing on an applied research project entitled 'Strengthening Process Efficiencies Changing Industry.' He earned his Master of Industrial Engineering from Pune University in India, where he graduated with First Class with distinction. His undergraduate degree was obtained in Iran. Dr. Ghahremanlou has engaged in various qualitative, quantitative, theoretical, and practical research projects throughout his career. His main research interests lie in the application of optimization techniques within logistics and supply chain management, with a specific focus on sustainability in these areas. He has a decade of professional experience across diverse sectors, including manufacturing and services, with expertise in energy, forestry, technology transfer, and consumer products. Dr. Ghahremanlou has taught both online and on-campus courses at undergraduate and graduate levels in Canada, India, and Iran. He has held multiple academic roles, including supervisor of research and chairing various international events. Additionally, he works to enhance sustainability through continuous interaction with government and business community leaders. Currently, he leads a multidisciplinary research team known as MTK Infinity, which is dedicated to pioneering research at the intersection of engineering and business.
