Dr. Dawn Siegel

Biography

Dawn Siegel, MD, is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Stanford University and holds a courtesy appointment in Pediatrics. She has been practicing for 15 years, specializing in pediatric dermatology with a focus on hemangiomas, birthmarks, vascular anomalies, and genetic skin conditions. Dr. Siegel earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed her dermatology residency and a pediatric dermatology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Her research interests include strawberry birthmarks (hemangiomas) and their relationship to multiple congenital anomaly syndromes, particularly PHACE syndrome. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Siegel is involved in various research projects focused on community outreach and education. She actively develops partnerships with community groups and health centers to create educational workshops aimed at promoting health science careers and skin cancer awareness.
