Biography

Debajyoti Mondal is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Saskatchewan. He completed his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba in 2016, following a Master of Science in Computer Science in 2012 from the same institution. Prior to his position at the University of Saskatchewan, he served as an NSERC Post-doctoral Fellow at the University of Waterloo from 2016 to 2017. He has also held a lecturer position in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology from 2009 to 2010. His research interests encompass information visualization, cartography, visual analytics, big data, graph drawing applications, computational geometry, topological aspects, and graph theory, with a focus on interdisciplinary research that integrates geometric concepts with software analysis, bioinformatics, and geographic routing.
