Dr. Debmalya Panigrahi

Biography

Debmalya Panigrahi is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Duke University. His research interests encompass design analysis algorithms, theoretical computer science, and combinatorial optimization. He holds a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which he completed in 2012. Panigrahi has contributed significantly to his field through various publications and has been involved in multiple research projects funded by prestigious institutions, including Google Inc. and the National Science Foundation. He takes on leadership roles, including serving as the Associate Chair of the Department of Computer Science, where he plays a critical part in advancing the department's academic and research endeavors.
