Biography

Deborah Briggs, M.D., is a board-certified epileptologist and a Clinical Associate Professor at Dell Medical School. She serves as the director of an outpatient clinic and the acting director of Ascension Seton’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Program. At Dell Medical School, she is involved in teaching residents and fellows, particularly in their Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and Electroencephalogram (EEG) rotations. In addition to her academic responsibilities, Dr. Briggs dedicates time to volunteering abroad as a clinical provider in the Ubuntu-Heal Kenya program, where she helps improve healthcare access for underserved communities.
