Biography

Deborah Dye is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at Purdue University. She graduated with a Doctorate in Integrative Health Healing from the University of Minnesota in 2021. Deborah has a long-standing interest in complementary and integrative approaches to health and well-being. With years of experience as a nurse in various fields including perioperative, emergency, and intensive care nursing, she transitioned into nursing education at Ivy Tech in 2004. Since January 2016, she has been teaching medical-surgical nursing and a holistic nursing elective at Purdue. She is also recognized as an ATI Champion and serves as the treasurer of the Delta Omicron Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International. Her current teaching includes courses on Health Alterations in Adults and Holistic Nursing Theory and Practice.
