Biography

Deborah Gutman, MD, MPH, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Medical Science at Brown University. She graduated from Brown Medical School in 1999 and completed her residency training in Emergency Medicine at Brown Medical School in 2003. Dr. Gutman is a board-certified physician in Emergency Medicine since 2004, currently practicing as an attending physician in emergency medicine at Mass General Brigham. She has been the principal investigator for research funded by the American Geriatrics Society and has also worked on projects aimed at injury prevention outreach for Hispanic communities. Dr. Gutman has contributed to significant publications in the field of emergency medicine and has received multiple awards for her teaching and research excellence, including recognition from the American College of Emergency Physicians and the Council of Residency Directors in Emergency Medicine. Additionally, she is actively involved in professional organizations such as the American College of Emergency Physicians and the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine.
