Biography

Debra Ravert is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Washington and later a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Towson University. Dr. Ravert earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Johns Hopkins. She is an active practicing emergency physician at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Bayview Medical Center, where she engages in collaborative efforts to find real solutions to pressing health issues. As a member of the Board Directors for an emergency physicians group, she advocates for improvements in the healthcare system as she pursues her passion for emergency medicine.
