Deepak Cyril D’Souza, MD, is a Professor of Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine and serves as a staff psychiatrist at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System (VACHS). His research is supported by prestigious institutions such as the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA) and the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). D’Souza has contributed significantly to psychiatric literature, with publications in high-impact journals and serves as a mentor for junior faculty pursuing academic careers.
